Alberta was first in line to experience a major cooldown this weekend as the cold front moved through the province, allowing for snow to fall, including in Calgary.

It was all part of a setup that is bringing a cooldown, snow, rain, gusty winds and even some thunderstorms for parts of the Prairies this weekend.

Alberta's cooldown means a chilly Thanksgiving on Sunday, so make sure to add extra layers if going outside for a walk or if you are travelling anywhere. Make sure to leave extra time, too, if your location saw any snowfall from Saturday night.
