The woman at the centre of a viral video with controversial AFL great Wayne Carey says her life has been suddenly turned “upside down” and her “suffering over recent days has been colossal”.
Marketing executive Kate Aston has called the video a “deliberate act of bullying” and says she will now take legal action against the people who filmed it and made it public.

In the video, the 38-year-old Aston walks out of the bathroom at a trendy wine bar in the Melbourne inner-suburb of Armadale, and then Carey appears about 20 seconds later, on his phone.
In the video’s audio, a woman can be heard saying “she looks embarrassed” and someone else says “what’s he doing in there?”.
