Why Mariners' World Series history makes them worth rooting for in ALCS vs. Blue Jays
The Seattle Mariners aren't like the others.
It's not a super high bar to clear, but of the four teams in the ALCS, the Mariners are the only ones yet to get past it.

The Los Angeles Dodgers have been there a ton, of course, with victories. The Toronto Blue Jays are champions, too.
The Milwaukee Brewers at least got to the World Series once, in 1982, although that was back in their American League days, and they lost.
The Mariners have never been to the World Series.
