AMES — For the first time since last November, Iowa State is on a losing streak.

The Cyclones (5-2 overall, 2-2 Big 12) have lost back-to-back road games at Cincinnati and Colorado. It's the first time the Cyclones have lost consecutive games since losing to Texas Tech and Kansas last year.

In 2024, the Cyclones rebounded from losses and reached the Big 12 Championship. That's going to be the goal this year as ISU uses its bye week to correct mistakes that haven't been common for coach Matt Campbell's football teams.
