Bihar Elections: NDA Announces Seat Sharing Deal; BJP, JDU Get 101 Seats Each; LJP(R) Bags 29 Seats The NDA officially announced its seat-sharing formula for the upcoming Bihar Assembly elections. BJP and JD(U) will contest 101 seats each out of the total 243, while Chirag Paswan’s LJP (Ram Vilas) has been allotted 29 seats. Rashtriya Lok Morcha (RLM) and Hindustani Awam Morcha (HAM) will contest 6 seats each. HAM retains four sitting seats and gains Atri and Kutumba, while RLM's Upendra Kushwaha will contest from seats like Obra, Sasaram, Madhubani, and others. NDA leaders including BJP’s Samrat Choudhary, JD(U)’s Sanjay Jha, Kushwaha, and LJP(RV) shared identical posts on X highlighting unity. In 2020, JD(U) had contested 115 seats, BJP 110, and LJP 135 on its own.
