Women in Madhya Pradesh received a special ‘Diwali gift’ on Sunday as Chief Minister Mohan Yadav directly transferred Rs 1,541 crore into the bank accounts of nearly 1.27 crore women with a single click, marking the 29th installment of Ladli Behna scheme, a flagship welfare program. In a grand ceremony held in Sheopur district, CM Yadav also announced a significant hike in monthly assistance.
