There’s a notable spike in the number of people availing the Ahmedabad Metro on a daily basis. In 2019, an average of 35,000 passengers used the metro services everyday, and the statistic has shot up to roughly 1.5 lakh in 2025.
With the services boasting a record of being 99.84 per cent on time, more than 10.38 crore citizens have travelled by Ahmedabad Metro so far.
The metro services will soon extend to Surat , with a 40.35 km metro line under construction.
