A nearly $20-million investment by the provincial government into paramedic and ambulance services in the city of Thunder Bay will help improve response times and increase capacity says the chief of Superior North EMS.

Thunder Bay-Atikokan MPP Kevin Holland announced on Thursday that the provincial government is increase land ambulance funding for the service by four per cent this year, bringing the total investment to $19.8 million.
