Tyler Kleven ‘expects’ to slot into the Ottawa Senators‘ lineup for the first time this season.

The 23-year-old defenceman hinted his return to reporters after Sunday’s practice as the team prepares to face the Nashville Predators on Monday.

Kleven was the Senators’ second-round pick in 2020 and has appeared in 96 contests, collecting four goals and nine assists since making his debut on March 30, 2023.

He signed a two-year, $3.2-million contract to stay with the Senators during the off-season.

Elsewhere in the lineup, forward Drake Batherson is likely to miss at least one more game as he battles back from an upper-body injury suffered during training camp.
