HOUSTON – Police are investigating a deadly shooting that started outside a Southwest Houston nightclub and ended just a few blocks away.

Police say a woman was killed and a man was injured after gunfire erupted as they were leaving Club Aragon, located in the 8100 block of the Southwest Freeway.

Detectives said a fight broke out but it’s still unclear what sparked the altercation or how many people were involved. Police said they don’t yet know whether the fight happened inside or outside the club—or if the business was open at the time.
