WALLER, Texas – Authorities say US-290 is closed in both directions in Waller after an 18-wheeler rolled over and caused a gas leak.

The Waller County Sheriff’s Office says the crash happened at FM 362 in Waller.

Hazmat has responded to the scene for the gas leak.

According to Houston Transtar, the highway is shut down in both directions at this time as crews respond to the incident.

Avoid the area and seek an alternate route.
