SALT LAKE CITY — A Lehi man was arrested Friday night for burglary after allegedly stealing nearly $3000 worth of power equipment from a storage locker in Lehi to purchase drugs.

According to the probable cause statement, Christopher Lee Moschetti, 29, was accused of second degree felony burglary after police found the missing items in the back of Moschetti’s truck.

Lehi police originally responded to reports of a break-in at a storage locker Friday afternoon, where $2910 worth of power equipment was stolen.

According to the statement, the victim called the police again with a tip regarding Moschetti. Moschetti reportedly showed the stolen items to his father, prompting his father to call the victim and report the theft.
