A Birmingham Greggs was ordered to improve its hygiene after failing a recent inspection.

The bakery chain is the only Birmingham Airport business failing in hygiene at the time of writing.

On August 26, Greggs was awarded a score of 2 (improvement necessary) from food hygiene inspectors.

Anything under a score of 3 (generally satisfactory) is considered a fail from the Food Standards Agency.

In a separate incident in March, a father was 'fuming' after he claims he found mould in his food from the airport bakery.
