LINCOLN, Neb. —
It's official, Nebraska's football team moves into the AP Top 25 for the first time this season.
The 5-1 Huskers are ranked No. 25 after beating Maryland on Saturday, 34-31.
Nebraska received votes in the AP Top 25 poll last week.
The AP Top 25 poll has four other Big Ten teams, including three in the top ten (Ohio State, Indiana, and Oregon). Three Big Ten teams are receiving votes.
The Huskers were left out of the USA Today Top 25 Coaches Poll.
Nebraska plays Minnesota on the road on Friday at 7:00 p.m. CDT. The game will be televised on Fox.
