Last week, Drake Maye showed a primetime audience that he was a quarterback to be reckoned with after out-dueling Buffalo’s Josh Allen during the Patriots Sunday night win over the Bills.

How would he follow up that monster performance on the road against the New Orleans Saints?

On fire.

Maye threw three touchdown passes in the first half alone, scoring on three of the team’s first four possessions.

He needed to be hot given the Saints and Spencer Rattler were matching scores, as the Patriots took a 22-16 into the locker room at the half.

The offense wasn’t as productive in the second half. Penalties derailed them.
