A woman was killed Saturday morning in Bolton after a pickup truck and an SUV collided at an intersection, according to police.

Bolton police responded to the intersection of Wattaquadock Hill and Old Bay Roads for a report of a two-vehicle crash around 9:30 a.m., the police department said in a press release . At the scene, officers found a Honda SUV and a Ford F-350, both of which were significantly damaged.

The initial investigation into the crash suggests that the SUV was traveling southwest from Old Bay Road when it hit the pickup truck, which was traveling north of Wattaquadock Hill Road, police said. The SUV driver — a 59-year-old woman — was taken to a hospital where she was declared dead, while the truck driver — a 20-year-old man — did not report any injuries.
