TEMPE, AZ (AZFamily) — Early morning rain in the East Valley forced the cancellation of two popular fall events on Sunday morning.

A muddled mess at Tempe Beach Park after weekend’s wet weather forced the cancellation of the third and final day of the 2025 Four Peaks Oktoberfest.

“Safety is the top priority for attendees and staff,” event organizers said in a prepared statement. They advised staff and ticketholders to visit the Four Peaks Oktoberfest website for additional updates.

The rainy weather also forced the closure of Schnepf Farms’ Pumpkin & Chili Party after flooding at the Queen Creek farm. It’s the first time in 29 years that the event, which runs Oct. 2 through Oct. 31, has been cancelled.
