9-1-1 has long been reliant on its stereotypical storytelling style, but after the unnecessary death of Bobby Nash (Peter Krause), the show is relying on one of its old reliable crutches. 9-1-1 , which began its life on Fox before moving to ABC in recent seasons, has become a standard when it comes to first responder shows, even if many disagree with its approach.

While 9-1-1 fans are always happy to see a big emergency hitting the 118's crew in full force, most struggle with the uncanny number of emergencies that happen in the fictionalized version of LA on the show. Though there is always a suspension of disbelief that has to come with any first response series, 9-1-1 often takes the cake surrounding emergency circumstances.
