ROCK HILL, S.C. (WBTV) - Two people are facing charges after two separate shootings in Rock Hill this past week.

The first was a homicide on Mandarin Drive and the other was a shooting at Rock Hill’s Galleria Mall.

WBTV spoke with people in Rock Hill about two different shooting incidents that happened in the city within days of each other. The York County Sheriff’s Office says one shooting was the seventh homicide that York County detectives are investigating of the year.

York County detectives are investigating a murder that happened on Mandarin Drive. Reports say deputies were called to a home Wednesday morning around 5:30 when they arrived, they found a woman with a gunshot wound who was taken to the hospital where she died.
