CUMMING, Ga. — One person is considered "very critical" in the ICU and another has serious injuries after a major crash on GA-400 on Saturday in Forsyth County , while the driver accused of causing the crash is facing a DUI charge.

That update came Sunday after the incident on Saturday in which several people were trapped and the highway was shut down for a time. It happened just before Exit 15 on 400 North, according to an official with Forsyth County.

Cumming Police said that officers responded to a two-car wreck with serious injuries between Mary Alice Bridge and Bald Ridge. They found that a Ford F-150 rear-ended a Kia SUV, causing the Kia to overturn in the middle of GA-400 North.
