CLEARWATER, Fla. (WFLA) — A slithery suspect was apprehended on Sunday, thanks to brave officers with the Clearwater Police Department.

Photos posted to social media show the slippery culprit, who measures more than 5 feet long.

The snake appeared to be dehydrated, according to the officers.
