YORK COUNTY, Pa. (WHTM) -- While we continue to honor the lives of the three fallen Northern York County Regional police officers — there’s also efforts aimed at honoring the two York County officers who are still recovering after being ambushed while serving a warrant on September 17th.

“I’ve done a couple of fundraisers over the years,” said Dean Lloyd of York County.

Lloyd organized a challenging fundraiser Sunday in honor of officer David Godfrey and his colleague who are still recovering from the tragic incident last month.

“No way can I ever duplicate what the officers or the person's going through, but I like to put myself through a strenuous thing to help raise money for them,” he added. “And if i want to ask people for their money, I’m going to make sure that I earn getting the
