Columbus Day Parade returns to Main Street Springfield after two

SPRINGFIELD — Red, white and green fluttered down Main Street on Sunday as the sound of Italian music, brass bands and cheering people filled the air.

After more than two decades, Springfield’s Columbus Day Parade made its long-awaited return, and with it came an unmistakable sense of pride.
