Students craft personal connections through greeting cards

Inside Philip Greene's multimedia classroom at Forbes Road Career and Technology Center near Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, students are hard at work.

"We can do any type of creative you need in this space, whether it's video animation or even the graphic design stuff," Greene said.

In addition to learning these skills for future careers, they are also learning important life lessons.

"As they move forward into these job places, they're going to have to learn how to connect, and they have to work with other people. Showing them how to care and to be concerned with others is just as important for professional development," Greene said.
