Mark Sanchez is speaking out for the first time since the violent incident in Indianapolis, where he was stabbed after allegedly attacking another man.

The 38-year-old former NFL player was released from the hospital on Sunday (October 12) and then booked into, and then released, from Marion County Jail.

Mark was allegedly the aggressor in a violent incident that happened, leading to his arrest while in the hospital. He allegedly assaulted a 69-year-old delivery driver while in an alley by a bar and then the man stabbed him in response. The fight reportedly broke out over a parking spot. The former football player is now facing a Level 5 battery charge. The punishment for that type of charge is one to six years in jail.
