KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) - Patrick Mahomes reached another milestone in a primetime matchup with the Detroit Lions.

At 30 years old, the Chiefs’ superstar quarterback connected on his 300th touchdown pass of his career, doing so in a faster fashion than any quarterback in NFL history.

Mahomes connected with wide receiver Xavier Worthy on a six-yard touchdown pass for the record-breaking throw. It gave Kansas City a 6-3 lead in the first quarter.

The 300th touchdown pass of his career combined between regular season and postseason play, came in Mahomes’ 139th career game. That broke Aaron Rodgers’ record of 147 games to reach the mark.

The touchdown pass was the 254th career touchdown pass in the regular season for Mahomes and the ninth of the 2025 season.
