Two people were killed in a rollover crash on Sunday evening near the Rio Grande in West El Paso, police said.

The crash occurred shortly before 6 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 12, in the area of Executive Center Boulevard and West Paisano Drive, Officer Adrian Cisneros, a police spokesman, said in news media message.

Further details were not immediately available on Sunday night as the crash remained under investigation by the Special Traffic Investigations Unit.

The identities of the people who died had not been disclosed.
