NORMAL ( 25News Now ) - Uptown Normal’s streets came alive with color and creativity this weekend for the 42nd annual Sugar Creek Festival.
Uptown was filled with artwork ranging from pottery, jewelry, paintings, and more. About 102 artists from across the Midwest traveled to showcase their talent at the weekend’s festival.
As many as 20,000 people showed up.
“It’s a great opportunity to celebrate autumn weather,” said Doug Johnson, Mclean County Arts Center’s executive director. “...Eeveryone gets to enjoy and enjoy music and have some fun.”
The McLean County Arts Center hosts its Holiday Treasures exhibition in November.
