ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) - A person is fighting for their life after being shot in Sandy Springs, according to police.

The shooting happened at the Highland Circle apartment complex, located at 201 Northwood Drive, after 10:30 p.m. Saturday.

According to police, the victim was taken to a hospital with life-threatening injuries.

No word has been given on a possible suspect at this time.
