The All-Star catcher helped spark the Seattle Mariners’ 3-1 win over the Blue Jays in Game 1 of the American League Championship Series on Sunday night, blasting a game-tying 420-foot solo home run in the sixth inning to kickstart the scoring for the M’s.

It was the second homer of the postseason for Raleigh, who is coming off a record-setting 60-homer regular season. And it was Raleigh’s ninth homer in 53 career at-bats at the Rogers Centre, including both the regular season and playoffs. Raleigh’s other postseason homer north of the border came in Game 1 of the 2022 AL wild card round.
