Lions offensive line

For the second straight game, left tackle Taylor Decker was inactive. But his absence didn’t seem to have a negative effect on the Lions ’ blocking front. With Dan Skipper standing in, Detroit controlled the line of scrimmage at the outset when it cobbled together a 15-play drive on its opening possession that absorbed almost 10 minutes off the clock. While the exhaustive march only yielded a field goal, it helped the Lions temporarily gain an edge and kept Kansas City’s offense pinned to the sideline.
