Patients and lawyers are demanding “complete transparency” over the findings of a review looking into the practice of a suspended surgeon. Kuldeep Stohr, a former Paediatric Orthopaedic , was suspended by the Cambridgeshire University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (CUH) earlier this year.

This was after concerns were raised about her care, and that they were “below the expected standard”. An external review was carried out into her practice in 2024, and it found a number of patients who had undergone surgery for dysplastic hips over two years had experienced “significant harm”.

A further investigation was launched by CUH earlier this year, looking at 698 procedures carried out by Ms Stohr over 13 years, as well as a further 50 paediatric and 50 adult trauma cases. In April, Verita
