A man from Tripura has been arrested in connection with the alleged rape, murder, and burial of his 14-month-old granddaughter. The accused, identified as Jaynal Uddin, was apprehended by a Tripura police team in Nilam Bazar, Assam, on Sunday and has been returned to Tripura.
