WARNING: This article contains spoilers from Netflix’s Monster: The Ed Gein Story
Netflix’s Monster: The Ed Gein Story has been a hit for Netflix, quickly becoming the most-watched show on the platform across the world.
The series not only depicts the crimes of the Plainville Ghoul (played by Charlie Hunnam), but how he inspired other serial killers such as Ted Bundy (John T. O'Brien) and Richard Speck (Tobias Jelinek) , among others.
Moreover, the show explores Gein’s troubled mind and his hallucinations, which included murdering a nurse (Linda Reiter), helping to capture Bundy, and speaking to Nazi criminal Ilse Koch (Vicky Krieps).
However, audiences are keen to know how much is real and how much is simply the artistic licence employed by the show makers. View 2 Images R
