On Monday at 12:54 a.m. the National Weather Service issued a freeze warning valid for Tuesday between midnight and 9 a.m. for Upper Hood River Valley.

"Sub-freezing temperatures as low as 32 to 28 degrees expected," comments the weather service. "Probabilities for temperatures at or below 32 degrees range between 50-90%. Probabilities for temperatures of 28 degrees or colder range between 5-35%. These probabilities are highest in the Parkdale area and lowest in Odell."

"Frost and freeze conditions could kill crops, other sensitive vegetation and possibly damage unprotected outdoor plumbing. Frost could harm sensitive outdoor vegetation.
