In a move to further the India-Canada bilateral ties, the foreign minister of the two countries held a delegation level talks in New Delhi, discussing on a range of issues including trade, economy and civil nuclear…. External Affairs Minister (EAM) S Jaishankar asserted that the two sides are working closely to “restore” their ties, as well as to lessen the risk from international economy by “forging strong partnerships of growing range and depth”.

Noting that as the foreign ministers, the two leaders have the responsibility to shepherd the process of rebuilding their cooperation, the EAM said they must also “ensure that it(partnership) delivers on the expectations of our PMs and the interests of our people.”
