Solapur, Oct 13: In a tragic incident, a traffic police officer in Solapur lost his life after falling from his bed while asleep. The deceased has been identified as Sambhaji Shivaji Dolatode (32, resident of Arvind Dham, Police Colony, Solapur). According to information provided by his wife to the doctors, the incident occurred around 5 am on Sunday when he fell in his sleep, sustaining a severe blow to the back of his head, which led to vomiting and ultimately his death.

Family members rushed him to Ashwini Hospital in Solapur city, where doctors declared him dead. The body was examined and the post-mortem report was handed over to the family, police officials said.
