The Hollywood legend died in California after reportedly experiencing a "sudden" deterioration in her health. Although the cause of the 79 year old's death is yet to be confirmed, reports suggest that Diane's health had taken a sudden turn for the worse in the weeks leading up to the devastating announcement. ‌

The phone call was placed from the Oscar-winner's home on October 11. The actress was rushed from her Los Angeles residence by ambulance on Saturday, October 11 and was later pronounced dead following a plea for help from the property, reports the Mirror . ‌
