Three hostages released by Hamas on Monday as part of a ceasefire pausing two years of war that pummeled the Gaza Strip and killed tens of thousands of Palestinians, have arrived in Israel.
Guy Gilboa-Dalal, 24, was among those abducted from the Nova music festival, while his brother managed to escape.
Alon Ohel, 24, who also has German and Serbian citizenship, was kidnapped at the Nova music festival from a mobile bomb shelter along with Hersh Goldberg-Polin, an American-Israeli who was killed in captivity in August 2024.
Omri Miran, 48, was kidnapped from the Nahal Oz kibbutz.
The releases come as President Donald Trump was in Israel to celebrate the U.S.-brokered ceasefire and hostage deal between Israel and Hamas, an agreement that he declared had effectively ended the war and opened the door to building a durable peace in the Middle East.
Under the deal, Israel released more than 1,900 Palestinian prisoners and is to allow a surge of food and aid supplies into famine-stricken Gaza.
Trump will discuss the U.S.-proposed deal and postwar plans with other leaders in Egypt later Monday.
