Luton Town have confirmed that Jack Wilshere has been appointed as the club's new manager.

Wilshere has replaced Matt Bloomfield as Hatters boss, taking his first permanent senior managerial role.

Former England defender and Three Lions coach Chris Powell has also been named as his assistant.

After retiring from football at 30 in 2022, Wilshere instantly began his coaching career with the Gunners' U18 side .

He moved on to join Norwich manager Johannes Hoff Thorup's coaching staff at Carrow Road in October 2024.

The ex-Arsenal midfielder then took charge of the Canaries following Hoff Thorup's sacking, going unbeaten in the hot seat.
