Hindustani Awam Morcha (HAM) leader and Union Minister Jitan Ram Manjhi said that he was upset on being allotted only six seats while the party demanded 15 constituencies for the upcoming Bihar Assembly elections. The HAM is part of the ruling National Democratic Alliance.

"We demanded 15 seats but we were given only six seats. We are upset, but we will not oppose the NDA's decision. We will move forward with whatever we have got, and we thank PM Modi for this," Manjhi told news agency ANI.

Manjhi needed to win eight seats for his party to get "recognised".

Even Rashtriya Lok Morcha of Rajya Sabha MP Upendra Kushwaha, got six seats and he expressed his resentment over the seat-sharing formula.
