Diane Keaton is being remembered by her on-screen children in the wake of her death.
The Oscar-winning actor died at age 79, her daughter, Dexter Keaton White, confirmed to NBC News on Oct. 11.
Following news of her death, tributes poured in on social media from fellow actors, as well as former co-stars.
Keaton’s career spanned five decades. She played the titular character in "Annie Hall" as well as the wife of a mobster in "The Godfather."
In later years, she took on roles playing a mom, including the vivacious matriarch Sybil in “The Family Stone” and a playwright embarking on a complex romantic second act in “Something’s Gotta Give.”
