No one can escape “The Hunting Wives” phenomenon , not even the cast of “Saturday Night Live.”

During the Oct. 11 episode of the NBC sketch comedy series — hosted by alum Amy Poehler with musical guest Role Model — the show poked fun at the popular Netflix drama starring Brittany Snow and Malin Åkerman with a fake trailer.

In a sketch teasing what could happen in the highly-anticipated second season of the series, a voiceover began, “Millions of Americans tuned in for Season 1 of ‘The Hunting Wives,’ straight but lesbian, horny republican murder drama, and now it’s back for more.”
