WILKES-BARRE — When the homicide trial of Frangel Garcia Andujar is scheduled to begin in Luzerne County Court next week, he’ll be free of any witness interference allegations.
Judge Michael T. Vough last week dismissed witness intimidation and criminal conspiracy related charges against Andujar, 23, and Reymer Gonzales, 20, who where accused of making jailhouse phone calls to speak with witnesses in the homicide case against Andujar.
The alleged plot to coerce witnesses not to testify or give misleading testimony postponed Andujar’s homicide trial.
