LOUISVILLE, Ky. — It's hard to miss, but gas prices have been steadily dropping in Jefferson County.

The average gas price in Louisville has fallen 6.2 cents per gallon in the last week, and are 19.1 cents per gallon lower than they were a month ago, according to GasBuddy.

The gas tracker found the cheapest gas station in Louisville was $2.29 per gallon while the most expensive gas station was $3.39 per gallon. The average price is $2.72.

Louisville gas prices are also lower than the national average; GasBuddy found while it fell 6.4 cents per gallon in the last week, it was still averaging $3.02 per gallon on Monday.
