Wild surveillance video captured the moment a Tesla crashed into a tree and outdoor patio at a Miami Beach restaurant on Sunday before police said two people who were inside the car were taken into custody.

The crash happened around 8:40 a.m. Sunday outside Norman's Tavern at 6770 Collins Avenue.

The video shows the white Tesla plowing through a portion of the patio and slamming into the palm tree, sending debris flying.

At least three men are seen getting out of the car and apparently holding their heads in a state of shock before they go through the car and appear to remove items.

"I heard a car going fast and I heard some sirens too and then there was a loud crash," one bystander said.
