Powerful scenes of newly freed Gaza hostages finally reuniting with their families emerged Monday — an emotional culmination of two long years of war.

Eitan Mor, 25, was among the 20 living hostages that were ushered into a meeting room at the Re’im base where his father, Zvika Mor, could no longer wait and popped out of the door to give his son a hug.

Elated mother Efrat let out a yell upon seeing her son in flesh for the first time in 738 days, with a spectator heard sobbing in the background as both parents embraced Mor. 7

“Our beloved Eitan, how much we have waited for you, how much we have waited to finally see you after two years,” the parents said in a statement.
