PINEVILLE, La. (KALB) - Pineville Mayor Joe Bishop on Monday confirmed to KALB that new businesses are coming to the city.

It’s no secret that work is being done at the former K-mart building next to Ollie’s. Bishop confirmed that T.J.Maxx will be coming to Pineville at that location.

He also confirmed that the former Phoenix Buffet building behind Ace Hardware (near Edgewood Drive and Hwy 28 East) is going to be a Mexican restaurant. Bishop was unable to provide a name for the restaurant at this time, but assured us that’s the plan for the old Phoenix Buffet.
