More than 100 local business and community leaders are in Mexico City Monday as part of the San Diego Regional Chamber of Commerce's 19th annual Binational Delegation to Mexico City.
The leaders will "advocate for U.S.-Mexico relations and address critical issues vital to the binational business community at a key moment of political transition in Mexico," a chamber statement reads.
Those from the U.S. side of the border include San Diego Mayor Todd Gloria, Chula Vista Mayor John McCann, Coronado Mayor John Duncan and National City Mayor Ron Morrison, as well as San Diego City Councilmembers Marni von Wilpert, Vivian Moreno and Stephen Whitburn and Chula Vista City Councilmembers Carolina Chavez, Michael Inzunza and Cesar Fernandez.
