JASPER. — State Representative Shane Lindauer (R-District 63) announced today that he will not seek reelection when his current term concludes in 2026. Lindauer, who has served in the Indiana House of Representatives since 2017, was originally appointed to fill the seat vacated by now-Governor Mike Braun. Residing in Jasper, Lindauer is a small business owner, and former member of the Indiana and Missouri Army National Guard. He previously served on the Dubois County Council and has been active in his community through various roles

“Serving the people of District 63 has been one of the greatest honors of my life,” said Lindauer. “After careful consideration with my wife Stacy, I’ve decided it’s time to step away from public office and focus on what is best for my family & small business.
